- Beautiful – Large premium packet of Acorn Table Queen Squash (Cucurbita pepo) seeds. Table Queen Acorn Squash is a highly prolific vining winter squash. Its 5-6" fruits have tender yellow-orange flesh that is excellent for baking, roasting, or stuffing. The hard green skin provides protection for long-term storage. Minimum of 5 g per packet (about 58 seeds).
- Productive – Squash germinates in 7-10 days when soil temps are 65-85°F. Plant 1” deep and space 4-6’ apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 12-24” tall with a spread of 4-6’. Squash will mature in 85-90 days, plant in USDA zones 3-11.
- Good Eats – On its own, fresh squash is delicious sauteed in butter with a little garlic. But it is also a wonderful addition to Italian lasagna, Asian stir fries, Middle Eastern curry, sweet breads and even pancakes. So many ways to use this versatile vegetable.
